Job Description

Marketing ManagerOur client is an electronics manufacturer that is leading the charge to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. Based in the North East and with a truly global reach, their products are used in smart grid applications, EV charging, waste energy recoveryand distributed electricity generation. Their technology can also be found in the rail, aerospace and HVAC industries. As they develop products that are at the forefront of technology, they are seeking a Marketing Manager who can effectively convey to markettheir contribution towards a better, greener and smarter world.Reporting to the Commercial Head, as Marketing Manager you will:

  • Develop a strategic marketing plan
  • Enhance the brand equity position of the organisation
  • Conduct detailed market research/analysis
  • Create an effective customer database across all markets and geographies
  • Make effective use of social media, improve the performance of the companys website, craft engaging newsletters, copywrite case studies and structure presentations
  • Communicate technical products and services to prospective clients in a comprehensible manner
  • Expand & improve communication across internal channels
  • Conduct business opportunities analysis in conjunction with the Sales function
As Marketing Manager, you will need to be:
  • An experienced Marketing Manager or Marketing Executive, preferably from a fast-paced, technical/engineering/manufacturing background
  • Ideally degree-qualified in Marketing
  • Highly conversant with the major social media platforms
  • Able to run projects independently
  • An accomplished communicator (the ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese would be a bonus)
  • Capable of organising & supporting overseas marketing initiatives and activities
Benefits and Rewards:
  • Salary of £35k + benefits
