Job Description

Sarah McKenna HR is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Architect to join the People Services team at NCFE. This newly created position offers a unique chance to be part of an organisation committed to promoting and advancing learning,aiming to help create a fairer society. As a Learning Architect, you will play a key role in ensuring the alignment of organisational and learning strategies to cultivate a high-performance culture through innovative learning approaches, frameworks, systems,and processes.Be part of their journey towards establishing a continuous learning culture, with the goal of upskilling leaders and providing impactful solutions for colleagues. This involves creating an environment conducive to learning, reflection, feedback, and coaching,supported by a newly introduced tool facilitating colleague-led, personalised learning experiences. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and embed these practices across NCFE while collaborating closely with a diverse group of senior leadersand the broader People Services department.Key Contributions:

  • Development and implementation of NCFE’s Learning strategy in collaboration with the Chief People Officer.
  • Establishment of a culture of continuous learning and improvement, empowering colleagues to take ownership of their personal growth, supported by leadership, frameworks, and resources.
  • Design and integration of efficient and effective learning experiences leading to improved performance outcomes and quality standards, enabling colleagues to reach their full potential.
  • Support for People Managers in embedding key frameworks and tools for colleague accountability in their learning and career experiences.
  • Collaboration with People Services colleagues to incorporate learning initiatives into broader talent management strategies.
  • Leadership in the co-creation and measurement of leadership and management development approaches.
  • Reporting on learning outcomes, evaluation, and impact, ensuring a strategic return on investment.
  • Effective management of the learning budget, proposing cost-efficient and impactful solutions aligned with our strategic goals.
Experience required:
  • A genuine passion for learning and personal growth, along with knowledge of learning theories and skills.
  • Significant experience in embedding learning strategies.
  • Proven expertise in creating and implementing scalable learning solutions at an organizational level.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying project management approaches and principles.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • A commercial mindset, emphasizing ROI and a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate, collaborate, facilitate, and influence at all levels.
  • Leadership coaching skills.
  • A curious and creative mindset.
To succeed in this role, you’ll also continually keep up to date with industry trends including utilising external networking opportunities to enhance NCFE’s learning offerings.The following criteria would be highly desirable:
  • Chartered CIPD qualification
  • Coaching qualification
  • Creating culture and organisational development approaches
  • Experience within regulated organisations
