The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers to fill positions for an international client based in Newburn. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence and must have a Valid CPC and Digi Tachograph CardThis role predominantly involves longer distance trunk runs transporting palletised packaged goods to destinations such as Preston, Leicester, Lincoln and Inchinnan.On arrival, you will be handed a tablet to complete your vehicle checks. The trailer will already be loaded and when you arrive at your destination, the trailer will be unloaded for you.There is currently an opening for Dayshifts, Backshifts and NightshiftsOur client works throughout the week - Monday - Sunday basis therefore flexibility in terms of being able to work some weekends is a huge advantage.Requirements of the Class 1 HGV Driver:Class 1 Driver (HGV) with Valid CPC and Digi CardFlexibility in terms of shiftsMust have no more than 6 points on licenceVerifiable referencesCompensation of the Class 1 HGV Driver:The starting salary for this position:Class 1 HGV Days & Backs £10.00 per hourClass 1 HGV Nights £10.50 per hourAdditional Benefits & Requirements
