The company in question provides services and support to manufacturing businesses based in the North East, that require monitoring to assess compliancewith Environmental Permits. Emission monitoring is also carried out to assist clients with process controls, optimisation of abatement systems and odour control.The ideal candidate will be a graduate from any of the following fields:

  • Environmental Science
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Chemistry
  • Mechanical Engineering
THE ROLETraining will be provided in all aspects of emission monitoring (both in house and with external training companies)Set up of equipment and loading of van prior to site workDriving company van to siteAttending client’s site, carrying out inductions where required, lifting equipment to platformsUsing a wide variety of sampling equipment, digital analysers and manual sampling trainsCollecting, labelling and shipping samples to analytical laboratoriesAssist in production of technical reportsManipulating data in Excel SpreadsheetsMaintenance of equipment (thermocouples, analysers, hoses etc)Calibration of equipmentWorking in line with our Quality System, taking part in audits when requiredLiaising with colleagues and clients on site in order to provide a high-quality service.THE PERSONTeam playerLooking to make a career in emissions testingA willingness to learnStrong communication skillsConfident in use of Microsoft ExcelA good level of literacy and numeracy is essential.
