Our Newcastle Office is currently recruiting for a Finance Operations Billing Supervisor. We celebrate multipleapproaches and points of view and believe diversity drives innovation, so we’re building a culture where difference is valued.The TeamThe Finance Operations Billing Supervisor sits within the revenue team located within the Finance Department, ensuring the effective delivery of bill preparation, production and support to the Revenue teams across EMEA.Key Responsibilities

  • Shared supervision of the Finance Operations Billing Team
  • Development of the team through ongoing training, support and knowledge sharing and conducting the annual performance review
  • Support On-boarding and embedding tasks as future phases are deployed, and recruiting new team members to support the roll out
  • Seek out opportunity for continuous process improvement
  • Work collaboratively with the London Revenue Team Managers to ensure appropriate escalation of team and related finance issues
  • Manage team performance/behaviours effectively and identify areas for improvement
  • Support Team Manager by taking on extra responsibilities when required
  • Ensure work is delivered to the highest standard, measuring quality and minimalizing the reissue of drafts/bills
  • Support revenue team to drive down lock up for the business
Skills and Experience Required
  • A team player
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the confidence and gravitas to liaise at all levels within the business
  • Previous supervisory experience ideally in a finance/business services environment
  • Self-motivated and dedicated
  • Strong Microsoft Office application experience i.e. Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Ability to manage change and support teams through any future changes
  • Flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to work outside core hours during busy periods
  • Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures that support people, performance and behaviours
