Job Description

Ecommerce Marketplace ManagerHybrid working - 3 days per week onsite / 2 days wfhOur client are a family business backed by a leading FMCG partner. In partnership, they find new innovative ways to solve complex problems delivering simple, considered growth orientated solutions which leave the right kind of impact on Shoppers, their People and theirPlanet.They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecommerce professional to join in this newly created role to lead the talented UK Ecommerce team amongst a growing global organisation.As the Ecommerce Marketplace Team Lead you will be responsible for hiring and developing their talent whilst managing and growing their existing brand partnerships. Your role will involve developing a strong relationship with key clients, understanding theirneeds, facilitating problem solving and ultimately driving revenue and profit growth.The ideal candidate would posses’ exceptional communication skills, agile leadership and has a proven track record in Ecommerce account management with experience managing Amazon seller or vendor accounts. Knowledge of other marketplaces such as Ebay orTiktok would be helpful.This is a hybrid role with expectation of being in the office 3 days a week with some domestic travel to clients.Responsibilities:· People leadership: listening leader who flexes their style to teach, coach build a growing team of Ecommerce Account Managers, Execs and Analysts. Conduct training sessions and on the job coaching to enhance the understanding of our offering and best practices.· Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with their CPG Brand Partners acting as the main point of contact for external local senior stakeholders. Support development and execution of Joint Business Plans with can-do mindset.· Revenue Growth: Drive UK P&L (specifically Turnover and Profit). Develop a deep understanding of our platforms, products and services to support development of account and operational strategies to achieve targets.· Operating Model: Lead by example driving the way they do business to deliver best in class service and communication.· Performance Analysis: Support analysis of account performance, identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to optimise sales and profitability. Monitor key metrics (ACOS, ROAS, ROI etc.) and provide regular performance reports to clients andsenior management.· Market Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and ensure their Brand Partners remain competitive.Qualifications:· Proven experience in eCommerce account management or a related role.· Strong understanding of the eCommerce industry, including trends, platforms, and best practices.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.· Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.· Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations.· Exceptional organisational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.· Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software tools.
