Job Description

Central Employment are looking to recruit an eCommerce Manager, joining a leading and now global online FMCG brand. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit a new and accomplished eCommerce Manager, managing their B2C UK website.Key eCommerce Manager tasks:

  • Business development within the specified sales channels (in-house websites), including driving incremental trade and sales through these channels, with a particular focus on brand development,
  • Using digital marketing knowledge and application to optimise the site performance including SEO, PPC, Adwords and on/off-site activities,
  • Developing a plan across all channels to encompass all seasonal variables,
  • Develop and drive day-to-day management and opportunities within the specified sales channels,
  • Listing new products and managing existing listings on the specified sales channels,
  • Develop and implement a product pricing strategy in line with competitors, including timely and seasonal promotions,
  • Develop and build relationships with other members of the team to ensure product prices, promotions, and information align with third party sales channels, particularly the E-commerce Manager,
  • Online visual merchandising of the specified sales channels.
Essential Experience:
  • Strong account management of 3rd parties,
  • Proven track record of brand development, particularly from a customer-centric perspective,
  • At least 2 years’ experience in all areas of SEO strategy and implementation (technical, on page and off page),
  • Experience using Magento, or other similar CMS systems,
  • Experience using leading SEO tools (Moz, Webmaster Tools, Majestic, Search Metrics, Omniture or similar),
  • An understanding of web technologies including HTML, PHP, .NET, CSS & JavaScript,
  • Proven search engine rankings results (+ traffic and conversions),
  • Mix of broad digital marketing skills and preferably (but not essential) specific knowledge of online marketing in an online retail environment,
  • Excellent working knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Open Site Explorer, Advanced Web Ranking, Google Adwords and other SEO/SEM related reporting products,
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel,
  • Solid knowledge of link building, content writing, search engine requirements, tracking, reporting and monitoring.
