Were looking for a proficient Design Engineer to join our client, a world leader in the design and manufacture of marine access systems. This role involves engaging in design activities for product concepts, tenders, and awarded projects, ensuring theyalign with the companys and clients expectations.- Annual salary of £30,000 - £37,000, benefits including 34hrs per week working pattern, 4% Pension, 1 x death in service life insurance, group income protection plan- Opportunity to work on innovative marine and fabrication industry projects- Engage with a multidisciplinary team in a role that encourages creativity and problem-solving----The RoleAs a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer you will be instrumental in…- Providing technical support, creating drawings and details for throughout the project life cycle- Planning work to adhere to budgets, scope, deliverables, and deadlines- Producing high-quality 3D CAD models and drawings using industry-standard software- Ensuring design workflow, checking, approval and issue are managed for project documents and any Drawing Registers are up to date- Conducting design reviews, peer checking, and ensuring proper document control and issue- Ensuring compliance with QHSE procedures and contributing to risk assessments---The Candidate- 3rd Level qualification in mechanical engineering related discipline, or equivalent.- Design skills; the ability to think and conceptualise in three dimensions- Experience of participating in teams of multidiscipline engineers and designers- Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of relevant analysis and design software.- Expertise with Drafting software such as inventor and AutoCAD- Competent or willing to learn to use ERP systems such as Job Cost- High quality standards, meeting quality and performance standards and seeking improvements to the company----The CompanyA successful and well-established entity in the marine industry, known for its innovative engineering solutions and commitment to quality.
