Job Description

About the role;As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and informative content tailored specifically for our B2B audience. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop content strategies thatalign with our business goals, enhance brand awareness, and drive lead generation and customer engagement.Who are weTSG (Technology Services Group) are a Managed IT Services provider servicing businesses UK Wide. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
  • Research, ideate, and create compelling B2B content, including but not limited to blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, email campaigns, social media content, optimised website copy, and more.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target audience, industry trends, and market needs to craft content that addresses their pain points, challenges, and interests.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other teams to gather information and insights to produce accurate and impactful content.
  • Optimise content for SEO and ensure it aligns with TSG’s tone of voice, style, and guidelines.
  • Manage content distribution across various digital channels to maximise reach and engagement, including social media, email, and marketplaces.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for content optimisation and improvements.
  • Working with the Marketing team to ensure quality published content is exposed in the best channels, in line with the marketing plan.
  • Working closely with the Content Editor and our agencies to deliver on the SEO/Content plan.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
  • Creativity and a passion for storytelling through written content.
  • Ability to simplify complex messages.
  • Sound knowledge of B2B communication styles.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven experience working as a B2B Content Writer, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to create persuasive, audience-centric content that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible content.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results.
