Claims Manager required to join a major claims consultancy in Newcastle to strengthen its existing insurance claims team in Newcastle.You will be responsible for evaluating and negotiating the settlement of claims for a range of commercial clients worldwide,. You will act as the main point of contact on behalf of prestigious global clients, managing complex maritime claims and assistingother junior Claims Handlers. You will look to negotiate cost effective outcomes for clients, and liaise with third parties such as suppliers, legal advisors and other experts to ensure overall effective claims management.The successful candidate will ideally be technically strong with previous P&I Insurance claims experience. You will have strong commercial acumen with the ability to demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills. This is an excellent opportunityfor someone with marine and shipping claims experience, to work on the full breath of P&I claims with plenty of scope for career advancement.On offer is a very competitive basic salary based on experience, with on-going training and development, generous company benefits package and relaxed working environment.
