The CompanyWe are supporting a highly successful software house based out of Newcastle who have a client portfolio including local, national and international companies in the public and private sector. They offer a software solutions consultancy service, working closelywith the client to understand their requirements before delivering a bespoke, web or mobile based solution. Due to the diverse range of clients the business has not seen a slowdown this year, in fact experienced the opposite and recently won a number of newprojects. With the next new programme of work starting in October they are looking to bring in additional development resource to support the build and delivery.The company have an established, and stable, development team and following the contract wins need to add C# resource to ensure the projects will be delivered successfully.The RoleYou will be involved in the full development lifecycle including working closely with clients to understand their requirements. The main aspect of the role will be the design and development of solutions however candidates will also need to be comfortable doingclient facing work. You should be able to build relationships with tech and non-tech teams, asking questions to build and awareness of the customers situation and issues they are facing before translating that into the start of a technical solution.The developers will work in teams to design and build the software, primarily written in C#/.net core, following Entity Framework and using Dependency Injection. Ideally you will also be comfortable in a client facing role withstrong communication skills.The PersonThere are 3-4 new roles at a mid-senior level so candidates with a range of experience are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will have strong development skills in C# and .net/.net core, with software engineering skills including knowledge of principalssuch as Object Orientated or SOLID and an ability to write Clean Code.Experience from consultancy or inhouse development environment would be of interest. Primary concern is identifying candidates with a strong technical skill set in C# and excellent interpersonal skills.The role will come with salary of up to £50,000 and offer a hybrid working pattern. Their offices are in Newcastle and the expectation is that candidates will be able to attend team meetings and events once a week.
