It takes a great deal of people from different backgrounds, with diverse skills and experience to serve our force area effectively, think you have what it takes to help us make a difference Thiscould be the perfect time for you to join us in our Force Transformation Department as a Business Process AnalystWork in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure business processes are analysed, documented and prepared for the implementation of business change initiatives: generally through the production of high quality business process maps and process information;identifying current inefficiencies and proposing future improvements.What you’ll do

  • Manage a variety of business area portfolios throughout the process analysis lifecycle
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (including Police Officers) from multiple business areas in order to accurately identify the relevant business process and process owner.
  • Undertake process reviews and facilitate key meetings and improvement workshops to document / map and evaluate services and processes
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to support improvements to processes; driving operational efficiency, identifying waste, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Identify benefits and disadvantages/disbenefits to any associated changes using a pre-defined benefits tracking mechanism
  • Adhere to process mapping governance structures, ensuring processes are completed in a timely manner and are agreed and signed off by relevant stakeholders
What you’ll bring (Training will also be provided!)
  • Process analysis, development and re-engineering experience.
  • Strong organisational skills, ideally supported by experience of using a formal project management methodology.
  • Experience in evaluating information and the ability to clearly explain complex issues.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills; able to plan own workload against set deadlines, organise meetings, workshops, sign off sessions etc.
  • Co-ordinate multiple project / portfolio areas simultaneously.
  • Work under own initiative; prioritising tasks to meet the needs of the business.
  • Use a structured approach to their work, with the ability to regularly assess priorities.
  • Ability to identify appropriate changes and capture benefits/ disbenefits and document
  • Excellent problem solving skills and logical, innovative thinking.
  • Possess good analytical skills, with an understanding of the need for accuracy and attention to detail.
