Job Description

The CompanyNigel Wright is delighted to be partnering with a consumer products business in their search for a Brand Planning Manager. This company has its own D2C channel, as well as retailing in the major supermarkets, retailers, toy stores, and pharmacies.The RolePlease note this is a 12m FTC maternity coverThe Brand Planning Manager will work closely with the Head of UK Marketing to develop and deliver the annual Brand Plan for the UK marketing channels. To do this the BPM will constantly monitor campaign KPIs to assess success and risk, implement continuousimprovement, and report on key metrics. The main role responsibilities include;

  • Work with the Head of UK Marketing to agree and set the annual key product focus, in alignment with internal stakeholders and other areas of the marketing department
  • Research campaigns and set deliverables
  • Manage marketing campaigns, bringing together all marketing collateral as required (includingphotography, content, graphics, video, etc)
  • Monitor and guide external suppliers to ensure brand guidelines are met
  • Report on campaign performance
  • Monitor competition
The PersonThe ideal candidate is a blend of a marketer and a project manager, with a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills. Key skills and experiences include;
  • Experienced in Brand Planning and understanding of wider product marketing, ideally in a B2C product environment
  • Strategic thinker
  • Understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong analysis and reporting skills
