You will be part of a highly experienced team of developers whose responsibilities include building new sites, services, products and bespoke business systemsfor clients across a range of sectors.About the Role:The role has a focus on back-end development work, API integration eCommerce development and bespoke system development utilising frameworks such as Laravel & Vue JS. We are currently recruiting for a number of roles and experience of Laravel, Vueor Magento 2 would make your skills a good match for many of our development roles.To deliver in this role the essential skills/experience you will need are: 3 years + of commercial experience Strong HTML, CSS(3) and jQuery Good working knowledge of PHP and MySQL Experience of integrating with 3rd party APIs Experience in OOP Experience of CSS pre-processors (SASS / LESS) Experience of version control, we use Git Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills Good working knowledge of best practice development techniques (accessibility, SEO, security, PSR compliance) Experience working in a process-driven environment Strong communication skills An appetite for personal learning and development A can-do attitude A keen eye for detailStrong technical experience in one or more of the following areas: Laravel Vue Magento 2 Zend Symphony ReactIt would be helpful if you also have the following skills/experience: Understanding of cross-browser quirks Experience of JavaScript task runners (grunt, gulp) A good understanding of Linux-based hosting environments A working understanding of internet architecture Experience with Figma/Sketch design tools Comfortable talking with clients and attending meetings An interest in the state and shape of the web industry
