Job Description

Role: Assistant PlannerLocation: NewcastleSalary: £25000-£30000We are proud to be representing a multi-disciplinary that has multiple departments working closely in partnership and include Commercial Agency, Valuation & Lease Advisory, Land & Development, Property Management, Building Surveying, Residential Agency,New Homes and Mortgages.Are looking for an Assistant Planner to join the office in Newcastle, due to an up growth in projects.Essential Criteria for an Assistant Planner:

  • MRTPI qualified or accredited Diploma or Masters. (Relevant Town Planning Degree)
  • Understanding at a practical level in property.
  • 1- 2 years of exposure in the private sector of planning.
  • Strong numerical and report writing skills.
Responsibilities and Duties of an Assistant Planner:
  • Provide planning consultancy advice to clients and colleagues.
  • Attend and report with clients at regular project meetings.
  • Produce reports to support planning appeals and applications.
  • Develop and maintain active communication with your own team and other teams.
  • Becoming a single point of contact for clients.
