Job Description

One of the UKs largest providers of affordable housing requires an Asset Manager to help drive continued success through out the North of the UK. The Asset Manager will work on a hybrid basis, mixing between home and office, whilst writing reports and attending exec level meetings. Asset Manager duties:
  • To implement and provide direction for the delivery of an approved rolling 5yr and 30yr capital maintenance programme
  • Manage and motivate the Asset management team members, ensuring excellent delivery of services
  • Implement an annual property maintenance improvement plan
  • Ensuring asset management data is collected, recorded, maintained and analysed to an accurate standard to inform business planning and effective Asset Investment programmes
  • To deliver 100% compliance in all aspects of asset management with specific focus of Fire Safety, Legionella, Asbestos Management, Gas Servicing and Electrical testing
  • To design and procure contracts for compliance, cyclical and planned maintenance
Asset Manager Requirements:
  • Proven experience in delivering housing capital programmes, including at least five years in a senior management capacity.
  • Experience of formulating asset management strategies and developing investment programmes of works and services.
  • Up to date knowledge of policy issues relating to housing and asset management.
  • Proven track record, sound knowledge and experience of directly monitoring contractors with a strong focus around productivity, quality, health and safety compliance and cost effectiveness.
  • Professional member of RICS or CIOB or equivalent.
