Job Description

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Newcastle area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.The Role:

  • The main responsibilities for an Assembly Engraver include, but are not limited to;
  • Checking that all raw material/products used in the assembly of products meet the correct standard of quality as required in the Company Quality System.
  • To inform the relevant management regarding the acceptance/rejection of raw materials, work in progress and finished products
  • To wire and assemble electrical, electronic products
  • To operate and maintain a pantograph engraving machine including setting up, operating, preparing and filling in with paint to achieve the desired finish on panels.
  • To operate a CNC and laser engraver.
  • To sharpen cutters to desired thickness and cutting angle using grinder.
  • The operation and upkeep of stud weld machine & consumables.
  • General housekeeping of work stations.
  • To ensure that all Company documentation and records are completed as required.
  • To inform the relevant management about any problems in achieving Production Assembly requirements to the Company’s Specifications.
  • To report any quality issues and work with management to resolve them.
  • To be responsible for the health and safety of themselves and others involved in their working area.
  • To undertake any training and development as required.
  • To carry out any other duties as and when required by the company.
    • The Person:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to read and understand wiring diagrams.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings used for metalwork
  • Able to follow Written Work instructions
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Ability to use CNC machine and corelating software (desirable).
  • Electronic/electrical Assembly experience.
