Job Description

Are you an Architectural Technologist looking for a new role Are you an Architectural Tech with experience of working on Industrial, Educational, Commercial or special use projects Do you want to be part of an exciting multi-disciplined property consultancywith genuine growth and development opportunitiesKingscroft has been asked to recruit for an Architectural Technologist for a nationwide multi-disciplined property consultancy. As the ideal candidate you will be experienced in all phases of construction and refurbishment projects in the education, industrialor commercial sectors. You will be confident in working directly with the clients and engaging with contractors while developing and creating plans using AutoCAD or REVIT, producing tendering packs and delivering on the schemes.Your role will involve:

  • Develop and produce detailed architectural plans and specifications.
  • Create comprehensive tender packages for projects
  • Work both independently / collaboratively on projects from RIBA stages 1-6.
  • Attend and chair stakeholder / site / contractor meetings
  • Liaising with clients, statutory bodies and contractors.
  • Assist Building Surveying department with tender packages
  • Preparation and submission of Planning Building Regulation applications
Your skills and experience will be:
  • Experience and confidence to be able to solve on-site technical queries.
  • Previous experience within the following sectors: Education, Commercial, Industrial, or Healthcare.
  • Good strong technical knowledge of construction methods
  • Taking ownership of projects, managing resources and time from inception to completion
  • Handling communication with clients and coordination of external consultants information.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in architectural planning and specifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK Planning Building Regulations.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD / Revit.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues / team members
  • Desirable - Producing 3D visualisations
  • Desirable - NBS specification writing
