Job Description

3D ArtistIm currently recruiting for a highly-innovative company based in the North East, who design best-in-class products within the Virtual Reality simulation space. They truly are at the forefront of their field, pushing the boundaries of whats possible whenyou combine Virtual Reality with Artificial Intelligence technologies.After receiving significant investment in the least year, they are looking for an experienced 3D Artist to join their expanding team in the North East. Their office is based in Gateshead, but you will have the flexibility to work from home or the officeas much as you like.In this role you will be working on their data-driven VR simulation products and bespoke VR experiences, working in an Agile environment. You will design and develop product features and functions according to client requirements, including realistic 3Dmodels and textures such as organic objects, props and UV.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 3D Artist to join a company who are truly at the forefront of their field, and pushing the boundaries of whats possible within the VR world.Please note that you will be required to submit a portfolio showcasing your 3D art skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity as part to be considered for this role.Requirements:

  • Prior professional games or simulation development experience
  • Highly-skilled in using packages such as Maya and 3DS Max
  • Excellent knowledge of real-time modelling techniques such as shaders, PBR, normal, displacement etc.
  • Excellent modelling and texturing skills.
  • Understanding of development processes and knowledge of C++ and Unreal is a plus.
  • Knowledge of best practices in software development and Agile processes
  • Experience with VR and product visualisation
  • Must be based in the North-East of England
