Job Description

Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for system administration, network infrastructure, and problem-solving If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic IT team!Skills Needed:1. System Administration:

  • Proficient in managing servers, operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra, 365, and associated portals.
2. Network Infrastructure:
  • Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network issues and configure network devices.
  • Experience with Draytek and Unifi products is a distinct advantage.
3. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify the root cause of complex technical issues.
  • Efficient problem-solving capabilities.
  • Documentation of resolved issues to optimize future ticket times.
4. Scripting and Automation:
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
5. Security and Compliance:
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with security protocols, access controls, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with Security, Endpoint Manager, and Compliance Policy portal is a distinct advantage.
6. Project Management:
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects independently.
  • Coordination with stakeholders to manage timelines and resources effectively.
7. Documentation:
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
  • Delivery of training and implementation materials for junior engineers.
Desired Experience:Essential:
  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT role.
  • Good understanding of general Windows server, storage, and networking technologies.
Desirable:
  • Experience of working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
