Cordant People working in partnership with our prestigious client based in Newbridge have an immediate opportunity for an engineer to work in their state of the art bottling facility.Basic Function:Conduct engineering operations to maintain efficient operation of all production lines in order tomaximize levels of production and control cost to budget. Operate in a manner consistent withcompany culture, objectives, practices, and policies. Provide operational direction, training andconsistency to Bottling Operators to enhance productivity, quality, safety, environmental, andcompliance.Responsibilities:Mentorship / Planning / Administration: Provide mentorship to Bottling Operators to meet short and long-term operating objectives. In partnership with the Engineers Supervisor completes the engineering schedule to meettargets and maximiseproduction line efficiency. Supports accurate and timely documentation reporting and EMAINT administration.Production / Safety / Quality / Environmental: Ensures reliability and consistency of engineering operation, engineering quality, governmentalcompliance, employee safety, and environmental impact. Ensures efficient operation to produce high quality work within the prescribed standardoperating procedures for safety, quality, cost, environmental, and compliance. Has a strong focus on preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. Drive safety initiatives. Ensure that safe working conditions exist and that all programs andpolicies are effectively implemented and practiced. Ensure compliance with BF quality policies, standards, and systems.Must Have Requirements: Demonstrated engineering understanding of bottling operations and equipment, continuousimprovement methodologies, as well as quality, safety and environmental practices. Demonstrated excellent communication skills. Ability to build and sustain excellent businessrelationships internally and externally. Ability to diagnose engineering issues and problem solve solutions to increase operationalefficiencies and cost control.Preferred Experience: Experience within a bottling environment.Competencies: Operational decision making Problem solving Planning and Organizing Building strategic relationships Ability to multitaskThis position is on a temporary basis paid weekly with the potential to last until the end of June.
