Job Description

Role: Teaching assistant/Nursery nurseHours : Part time, 7.5hours/week 9.00-11.30am Monday to FridayLocation : Nelson CF46Start date: ImmediateEnd date: Continued into Sept 2022Pay rate: TBC/dependent on experienceReed education are urgently seeking a teaching assistant or nursery nurse to support a pupil with speech, language and communication difficulties.The role will be working 1:1 with a 4 year old pupil, for 7.5 hours per week to help with their learning, communication and speech. The schools vision is to drive challenge and encouragement for students to achieve confidence and a love of learning.Our client is aiming to appoint someone asap, so please get in touch as the role is expected to fill quickly.What we need from you:

Enhanced DBS on the update service
Registered on the EWC
Experience working with children with SLCD, ALN and/or utilising flash cards for learning. PECs/Makaton would be an advantage but not essential.
