Job Description

About the role Were looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join us at our Packaging site in Neath, who will bring the voice of our customers to the quality of the products we produce. Working closely with colleagues around the site, our Quality AssuranceManager will make sure that the team are working to high quality standards and meeting targets.As Quality Assurance Manager you will take the lead on investigations into customer complaints, specifically relating to quality issues, and be involved in customer visits to the site. Youll ensure that everyone in the team is keeping to the relevant compliancestandards and ensure that we maintain external accreditation. You will also take the lead on any new product introduction.In this role well want you to work to Health, Safety, Environment and Risk standards; act as a principal point of contact for product/service quality and hygiene issues; ensure quality data is provided to the team; advise on relevant changes to legislation;produce systems, audits and reviews in line with BRC, ISO9000 and divisional requirements.Note: The working hours for this role are 08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday, and 08:00 - 14:00 on Fridays.About you

  • Experience managing and leading audits
  • Good understanding of site operations
  • Excellent customer interaction skills
  • Experience leading a small team, or the desire to take on this responsibility
  • Experience with quality systems and root cause analysis
  • Good analytical, communication, time management and process improvement skills
