Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor DAYS RoleNeath18415/534£40,000 + Comprehensive benefitsWith Operations across Europe and with an ever expanding customer base, this award winning manufacturer has recently invested in new state of the art machinery at its South Wales facility. Following their recent investment they are looking for a maintenance engineer / Supervisor to report into the Engineering Manager and oversee a team of very skilled Maintenance Engineers. The company are part of a large group globally and are extremely well-funded giving them excellent stability in the FMCG market. Role & Responsibilities:*Promote and participate in activities that ensure the highest safety, operational and quality standards are achieved.*Manage on a day to day basis the work planning and distribution of the Shift Engineers, including plans for weekend working via the site maintenance system.*Line management of the Shift Engineers including training requirements, personnel management and performance management.*Plan, develop and implement machine modifications and monitor the production equipment to improve OEE.*Provide technical support to the plant, covering machine maintenance and breakdowns.*Assisting in the purchase and procurement of all engineering parts for stock, breakdown and project purposes.*Working with specialist equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Drives, HMI, and able to work with high voltage cabling where required (11KV).Knowledge, Skills & Experience:*Educated to HNC/HND in an electrical discipline*Previous experience working in a Senior Maintenance Engineer role or working as a Maintenance Team Leader / Supervisor *Experience with working with PLCs including fault finding and modification*Qualification to work with 11KV high voltage systems desirable*Ability to analyse and problem solve electrical engineering failuresBenefits Package:*£40,000 *Days Role *Progression available onto the management ladder *Pension *Extremely stable industry and product range *FMCG environment which has remained really busy throughout COVIDIf you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant David Biggs directly at or call him for a confidential discussion on .
