Key responsibilities will be to:

Carry out general maintenance repair work on the companys fleet of vehicles and trailers
Ensure all vehicles are in safe working order
Carry out all repairs to the highest standards
Carry out in-depth engineering work and diagnostics
Be able to operate individually or within a close team
Carry out all repairs in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation and company policy
Operate all relevant equipment, machines and tools safely
Complete associated documentation

As such we would like you to:

Be educated to City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline is essential
Have experience as a HGV Mechanic working within a similar position
Holding an HGV C+E licence Class 1 is essentialand a current ADR is preferred but not essential
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of vehicles, trailers, workshop plant and equipment
Have the ability to resolve mechanical / electrical / pneumatic problems
Have the ability to multi task and achieve key deadlines
Demonstrate rigorous fault finding skills
Have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Demonstrate good communication skills

06:00 to 15:00 - .5 for Lunch =8.5hr Mon to Fri13:00 To 22:00 -.5 for lunch = 8.5hr Mon to Fri06:00 To 12:00 Sat when needed
