Our client is a UKAS accredited asbestos company providing outstanding asbestos advice and services to a diverse range of clients and contracts. They are currently looking for a hardworking, committed and experienced Asbestos Surveyor based in or around the Swansea area. The successful applicant will hold the P402 asbestos qualification and will have considerable experience carrying out asbestos surveys on a range on a mixed portfolio of site types. Consideration will be given to applications from Port Talbot, Bridgend, Aberdare, Caerphilly and the surrounding areas.Qualifications/Experience:Must hold the P402 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.Previous experience carrying out Asbestos surveys on a varied site base.Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office Package.Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.Must have effective communication skills and confident in client facing role. Responsibilities of the Role: Undertaking Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings including commercial and industrial.Collating and producing comprehensive and accurate asbestos reports with good accuracy. Developing and maintaining a strong working rapport with clients and colleagues of all levels. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.The successful post-holder must be adaptable within a good work ethic and have the initiative to work effectively and to set timelines.
