Job Description

Have you got experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAre you a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detailDo you have supply chain experienceAre you adaptable a good problem solverAmour Recruitment are working with a very successful manufacturing company based in the Nantgarw area, who are looking to add an additional Supply Chain Analyst to their team on a permanent basis.Job Title: Supply Chain AnalystLocation: NantgarwSalary: £25,000-£28,000Hours of work: Mon-Friday 37.5hour per week Flexi core hours of Mon-Thursday 10am-3pm and Friday 9am-12pm3 days office based 2 days work from home.Role Purpose:As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement and supply of allocated materials and services.Role Responsibilities:

  • To monitor and meet demand using relevant MRP messages, reviewing the low stock exception reports and to priorities daily MRP messages, reviewing the low stock report, eliminating any supply jeopardies.
  • Identify daily parts issues in advance and advise as to any potential issues.
  • Assist in sourcing and assessing the supply chain, when required and the day to day management of relevant suppliers, ensuring compliance to SQAS and to resolve all short-medium term supply problems.
  • To support product changes through NPD and NPI, providing procurement support for changes and new products.
  • To respond in a timely manner to customer service enquiries.
  • To communicate and manage suppliers on a daily basis.
Ideal skills and experience:
  • Previous experience within a supply chain role
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, competent with Microsoft.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Managing and prioritizing own workload.
  • Adaptable and ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative.
