Job Description

My Public sector client, based in Nantgarw, is recruiting for a key role to work with partners to plan, develop, educate and train the current and future workforce. Their uniqueness comes in our ability to do this through strategic and specialistworkforce solutions. To achieve their ambitious plans, the Communications and Engagement team is increasing its marketing function and communications and engagement capacity.The post holder will have a critical role in the provision of a professional communications, engagement and marketing service.This is a temporary role, for 6 months initially.Full time hours, hybrid workingPay rate: £21.31ph - £24.38ph DOEMain responsibilities:

  • to support key programmes of work with dedicated marketing and content writing support
  • to support key programmes of work by scoping, implementing and delivering promotional campaigns, communications and engagement activities at pace and evaluating them to inform future work
  • to support the key programmes and the corporate agenda by writing, editing, proof reading and co-ordinating complex high-quality internal and external publications, including but not limited to innovative marketing materials, campaign assets and relateddocuments (they will also write press releases and articles, plus produce
  • video and digital content)
  • to act as a source of knowledge, assisting and advising HEIW staff on communication, engagement and marketing matters and developing appropriate plans (they will also advise on reputation management and media handling)
  • to be responsible for providing communications, engagement, inequalities and health inequalities support, advice and guidance and attend team meetings, developing a positive working relationship across the organisation
  • to support the production and delivery of communication, engagement and marketing plans for key programmes of work, as well as the wider organisation communications and engagement strategy
  • to proactively identify and pursue opportunities to promote the Organisation with regular, timely and engaging high-quality content (this will involve writing news stories, sourcing case studies, arranging interviews, writing bulletins and other activities)
  • to lead in the creation of digital content as appropriate for the Organisations social media channels, using relevant design and production tools, including editing photographic and video content as required
  • to lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of innovative communication, engagement and marketing activities
Ideal candidate will have significant experience in content writing / campaigns, able to work autonomously and works to a high standard.
