Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our public sector Client to provide administrative support, including processing paper and electronic patient feedback forms and supporting the Online Resources workstreamas required. The post holder will be required to develop a working knowledge of the patient and colleague feedback system for doctors, and will be provided with the appropriate training.This post is currently part-time: 3 days per week, 22.5 hours (must be available to work on Monday and Friday, flexibility around 3rd day). This is a temporary position, initially until the end of April 2023, with possibility of extensionPay rate: £11.12ph + holiday allowanceKey duties for the Administrative Assistant will include the following:

  • Input patient feedback forms data onto the system including scanning paper forms
  • Cross check all handwritten patient feedback responses to ensure recognition software has processed this correctly. Where manual amendments are required, the post holder must consider best course of action, escalating as appropriate
  • Analyse a random sample of patient feedback responses and quality assure them to ensure the software is processing data accurately.
  • Store data in line with Information Security guidelines e.g. electronic and hard copy forms
  • Process and convey sensitive information with tact, in line with confidentiality policies
  • Attend and contribute as required to the team meetings
Qualifications, skills and experience:
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent demonstrable experience of administrative / office skills and knowledge plus experience of a full range of duties working in an administrative / office environment
  • 5 GCSEs Grade A-C including English and Maths
  • Knowledge of GDPR requirements
  • The suitable candidate will be adept at building professional relationships and will possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
