Job Description

Teachers pay scale plus SEN allowance (dependent on experience) Permanent, full-timeApril startAre you an experienced or newly qualified teacher looking for a rewarding new opportunity to support SEN learnersAbout the roleOur specialist independent School is located within 60 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside and supports children and young people with epilepsy and associated complex needs. We are a happy, inclusive and welcoming School, that constantly strives forexcellence in education. We have an ambitious education strategy and are looking for a talented Teacher that will create an enabling environment in which our young people can flourish. In this exciting role you will;

  • work part of a specialist team to lead class groups in all aspects of the curriculum
  • prepare and deliver inspirational and creative lessons
  • deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and make a broader positive contribution to school life
  • promote a love of learning and enable our pupils to make progress towards positive academic and EHCP outcomes
We’d love to hear from you if;
  • you have qualified teacher status in the UK
  • you are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential
  • you have experience working with SEN learners between the ages of 5-19
  • you have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • you are able to think creatively and engage positively with learners with a broad range of complex needs
