HCA UK are incredibly proud to be awarded Private Hospital Group of the Year2020 at the Health Investor Awards.Job - Superintendent CT RadiographerLocation - The Princess Grace Hospital, LondonContract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs (with on-call and weekend requirements)Salary Range -Competitive dependent upon skills and experience.Other Info - Please note we will be able to sponsor VISAs for candidates within the EU and outside the EU.Job DescriptionAs a Superintendent CT Radiographerof the Princess Grace Hospital, you will facilitate the day to day running of the CT Scanning Suite, in order to provide a professional, efficient and cost effective unit.   • To provide professional leadership in the CT Scanning Suite
  • To maintain a professional image of the CT Scanning Suite in relation to all patient care and provide a high standard of diagnostic imaging and efficiency for our users.
  • To ensure efficient day-to-day running of the CT Scanning Suite and Imaging Department by organising the efficient utilisation of staff and resources. This will include:Staffing levels, skill mixes and working arrangements, induction, training and developmentof staff, appraisals, disciplinary action as appropriate & full IR(ME)R and CQC compliance
  • To work closely with the Radiologists in setting up policies and protocols for all techniques and organise with the radiologists, techniques appropriate to each patient request.
  • To work with the Radiology Manager with regards to clinical audit and clinical governance processes within the imaging department.
  • To assist in identifying improvements within the Department on an ongoing basis and to oversee the implementation of improvements that have been identified and agreed with the Radiology Manager.
  • Be available to work across our sister site at the London Digestive Centre (LDC) when required
Skills & Experience
  • Be a qualified radiographer
  • HCPC registered
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Radiography
  • A post graduate qualification is desired
  • Extensive CT Experience
  • Previous management in an Imaging department would be a preference
