From complex and urgent care, to primary care, outpatient and day-case treatment, we provide exceptional care across our network offacilities and key NHS partnerships in London and Manchester.The Patient Access Manager (PAM) is responsible for the effective leadership, direction, evaluation and administration of the Patient Access functions for their specific HCA UK HospitalsYour role is to lead the management and progressive development of high quality and customer responsive services, to maximise revenue capture and contribute to achieving the Hospitals Business Plan. This includes active contribution to Revenue Cycle andto the overall management of the Hospital and its business.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the patient access experience by providing a world class service to our patients through a seamless patient journey and a high level of customer care at all times
  • Develop and implement, with the GPAM and Facility Senior Management Team (SMT), the Patient Access Facility strategy in line with the direction of HCA Healthcare UK business plan
  • Ensure that all Internal Audit policies and procedures are communicated and carried out within the department on a timely basis. Be supportive in implementing best practice and prepared to make recommendations on improved internal control processes
  • Maintain effective communication with relevant departments outside of the Facility, including Corporate Teams
  • Liaise with contracts, insurance, consultants and other third parties regarding the prices for procedures without standard pricing agreements
Skills and experience:
  • Management / Supervisory experience
  • Good IT skills including Excel, Word, Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, and the ability to deal with all levels of staff and external third parties
  • Strong collaborator, with a sense of ownership & accountability
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to work under pressure
