Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who is fluent in both German and English to join a reputable family-run SME based near Norwich. The key focus of this role is to understanding who the strategic players are in a market, how to engage with them and understand how to effectively secure a mutual partnership to deliver results. You will be responsiblefor the whole end to end experience and will clearly demonstrate passion, drive and resilience to push through barriers in order to achieve results.As well as being fluent in German and English the ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of German business cultureKey duties and responsibilities...

  • Key focus is understanding who the strategic players are in a market, how to engage with them and understand how to effectively secure a mutual partnership
  • Having a clear understanding of how financial targets will be achieved through trial and stock orders
  • Balancing role focus between lead generation, prospecting, key meetings and closing whilst having the ability to flex where needed
  • Critical is the ability to prioritise effort where the most return is to maximise results
  • Demonstrating perseverance and ability to overcome rejection as global opportunities are varied and can take time to onboard - must have ability to see long term big picture.
  • Responsibility to proactively collaborate fully with the team to highlight and exploit opportunities in the Health and Wellbeing marketplace globally.
  • Utilise resources to support the role objectives and highlight training needs to upskill where necessary.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications...
  • You must be a fluent German and English speaker that has clear understanding of German business culture.
  • A minimum of 3 years business to business sales experience
  • You will clearly demonstrate passion, drive and resilience to push through barriers in order to achieve results.
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
