Job Description

Were looking for a Childrens Home Manager to join a passionate and dedicated team of professionals in delivering the very best care to children and young people with learning disabilities and complex healthcare needs. This Registered Manager role in Leedsis for a brand new 6-bed residential home designed with top of the range facilities to help the children flourish including a hydrotherapy pool, whilst maintaining a warm, homely feel.On offer is a basic salary of £45,00 with an achievable bonus scheme of nearly £7000, life assurance, golden hello, employee assistance programme, Awards scheme and opportunities to advance your career.This post would suit an experienced Registered Manager of a childrens residential home, though we are open to consider applications from strong Deputy Managers. It would be ideal if you have experience of commissioning a new home but not essential.As a Registered Manager youll be responsible for;

  • Assessment and evaluation of new referrals and manging a smooth transition into the home
  • Ensuring that Ofsted standards are being met
  • Management of the homes budget and expenditure
  • Develop quality assurance systems
  • Deliver effective leadership to the staff team, that promotes a positive culture of open practise
  • Ensuring the staff rota is effective
What were looking for;
  • An experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager who can demonstrate sound understanding of Ofsted requirements
  • At least 2 years management experience in a relevant childrens setting within the last 5 years.
  • QCF level 5 or equivalent in Leadership and Management for Social care (Children and Young People)
