You will have a varied role across the month but with particular focus on the delivery of high-quality reporting & analysis. This includes performance related statutory reporting, reconciling Balance Sheet accounts, supporting the management accountant team(R2R) with the month end close, and quality control checks on systems & processes.Alongside analysis of key performance metrics, you will provide the business with valuable insight and next steps, highlighting key issues and potential areas for improvement. You will be encouraged to develop a continuous improvement mind-set to drive efficiencyand the quality of the processes, particularly as the business transition to new systems.You will need deep understanding of controls and processes within AP and the impact if these are not adhered to. You will use effective communication to build relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues within the team and the management within AccountsPayable. Involved in continuous improvement of processes, based on specialist knowledge, and understanding and involved in any changes in this area.Responsibilities· Timely and accurate reporting, including coordinating inputs from other teams where necessary.· Providing great customer service on complex queries through timely responses and engagement with stakeholders.· Key focus on continuous improvement and suggesting alternative/smarter ways of working.· Act as a key stakeholder for the department on specific systems and/or processes, with the ability to provide knowledge and expertise to support in problem resolution.Skills· Aptitude for working with numbers and large data sets, be an advanced user of MS Excel and have an awareness and interest in data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI.· Able to handle a large volume of workload, with ability to effectively prioritise and multitask.· Confidence working independently, being self-motivated and resourceful.· Able to communicate effectively to provide great customer service and clarity of any issues to the business.Hours: 8.00 - 16.00Location: LS27Pay: £12.80phDue to the amount of response, we receive, unfortunately we are not able to give feedback to individuals, if you have not heard back within 5 days, please assume that you have not been successful for the role you have applied for.
