We’re looking for real techies to join all our areas within our IT department: Testing, Engineering, Application Development across our IT Digital and Core teams.Initially, the roles will be an Application Support Developer situated within the Applications 2nd Line Support. You will go through intense training, take a hands-on learning approach to achieve competency and understanding in the technologies used to support a flourishing IT operation.From this position, you will springboard into positions presented by the other IT squads within Hermes.This role offers variety as well as responsibility for making real decisions on real projects within Hermes and be involved with all our latest IT projects, including our digital transformation programme, moving our data centre into the cloud and rewriting all legacy applications into horizontally scaling cloud services.You will work with a mix of established and cutting edge technologies such as Java8, APIs (Soap & Rest), Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Spring Boot, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
