Job Description

Stock Control AdministratorSeeking a Stock Control Administrator to join a leading organisation based in Moira.This is a Full-Time, Permanent PositionHours of work: Monday to Friday: 8.30am (by rota)/ 9am5pm (35 hours)Salary: £22,000 (£12.09 per hour)Job Role:You will be responsible for providing full administrative support and working along with the wider team.Essential Criteria:

  • 5 GCSEs (A-C) to include Maths and English
  • 1 years experience in a busy office in a stock control role
  • Experience of computerised sales and/or purchasing systems
  • Strong software skills including proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
Desirable Criteria:
  • 2+ years experience in a stock control role
  • Competence in use of Microsoft Navision
  • Business Administration qualification
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Authorised Distributors compliance with stock submission dates and record on the schedule
  • Control levels of stock within guidelines
  • Prepare daily order report for possible deliveries out of Stock
  • Process and authorise stock transfer requests
  • Reconcile month end stock returns for Distributor Sites
  • Process third party deliveries
  • Develop and maintain working relationships
  • Monitor stock rotation compliance
  • Review stock levels and over age issues with line manager
  • Prepare physical stock schedule for stocks ensuring it complies with schedule and/or combining this with annual physical stock taking at locations across the UK by yourself
  • Update policy for stock holding at yearlys
  • Ensure monthly stock counts for all finished goods, works in progress and component parts are completed
  • Review stock for negative stock balances and investigate
  • Input stock count data
  • Investigate stock adjustments and provide feedback to the Director
  • Ensure all parts have a stock count cycle
  • Validate Bill of Materials against Assembly/Production
  • Assist with monthly and annual physical stock counts when required
  • Provide reports where necessary, on a monthly basis
  • Provide cover for other job roles / tasks within the Department
  • Provide cover for Sales Order processing and general office support
  • Answering customer telephone enquiries
