Job Description

Start Date: Immediate Salary: KS6 point 17-20 (£20,439-22,420) Working pattern: 37 hours per week(8:00am- 4:00pm), term time only plus 5 staff development days Location: Oasis Academy- Isle ofSheppey, Marine Parade (West site) About our Academy: Oasis Academies exist to provide arich and balanced educational environment which caters for the whole person.Our task is to serve our students, as well as provide a learning hub for theentire community. About the role: We are seeking to appoint anenthusiastic and talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join an innovativedepartment, ensuring high quality learning and student achievement. For this role you will work underthe supervision of the SENCo and classroom teachers to assist with theprovision of teaching materials and resources for our most vulnerable students.You will use detailed up-to-dateknowledge and specialist skills to support pupils learning, taking intoaccount the wider curriculum developments, which are relevant to your work.Contribute to the overalleducational aims of the Academy, in liaison with the teaching staff establishconstructive relationships. You will be working with studentsin a variety of contexts to support the teacher in a classroom environment andin small group settings. Therefore, it is preferred if applicants have five A*to C grade GCSEs or equivalent (including English and Maths).
