Pay: KR3 Start Date: ASAP We are looking for a highlyefficient, flexible, friendly and reliable Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1basis supporting a child with Downs Syndrome in Year R to join our school.This position is for 30 hours per week, 38 weeks of the year (term-time only).We are looking for an experiencedTeaching Assistant who preferably has training and experience of Makaton asthis is one of the main ways of communication for our pupil. Specific trainingfor Downs syndrome (STLS) and Makaton (in-house) will be provided regardlessof your previous training and experience as this will be relevant to the childyou are supporting. You will need to be patient, caring, energetic, supportiveand a positive team player with excellent communication skills.
