Front End Developer (Angular)Near Bath, Somerset£35,000 - £40,000 DOE Plus Benefits (see below)Our client is a well-established software provider with decades of success under their belt. They have exciting plans to expand their portfolio of solutions and are looking for a Front End Developer to join their team.As a Front End Developer, you will:- Capture requirements and understand business needs effectively- Analyse and design client-side UIs- Create a test approach that includes TDD and unit, component and integration tests- Write and test JavaScript, HTML and CSS code- Use the Angular framework and Node.js- Create clear dependency chains for UI logic- Document your code using JSDoc or similar- Work alongside Back End Developers to build RESTful APIs- Develop high performance UI access across all devices- Deliver complete and tested client-side UI- Contribute to the design and construction of automated acceptance tests- Manage and version control the main code files- Create, manage and version control branched code files- Contribute to Sprint release plans and roll out activityTo be considered as a Front End Developer, you will need:- Extensive knowledge of software development and OO programming- High levels of proficiency in JavaScript, HTML and CSSIdeally, you will also have knowledge of Node.js, however this is by no means essential.Other organisations may call this role UI Developer, Front End Web Developer, User Interface Developer, Angular Developer, AngularJS Developer, or Frontend Developer.What are the benefits- Annual company bonus scheme (up to 10% of salary)- Company pension scheme- 22 days’ holiday- Team-oriented work environment- Potential for home-working- Free parking, tea and coffee at the office- Standard weekday hours (8:30am – 5pm) – no weekend workWebrecruit and our clients are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
