Job Description

One of Apple A Days partner schools in the Radstock area is keen to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated Early Years teacher to join their school. This is a part-time (0.4), permanent position with a salary range of MP3 to UPS3, depending on experience.They are looking to appoint a class teacher who can inspire, nurture, motivate and challenge children to achieve their best across all areas of the curriculum. The role will include teaching in a mixed Reception and Year 1 class on Monday and Tuesday, aswell as leading EYFS across the school.The successful candidates will need to:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of pupil attainment and progress.
  • Demonstrate good behaviour management.
  • Be committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning in an inspiring and creative learning environment.
  • Be able to challenge, inspire and support all children to reach their full potential
  • Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the ability to work effectively within the wider school team
  • Support and embrace the ethos of this church school.
