Business Development ManagerMarine ElectronicsSalary Circa £50k plus bonus and benefitsFlexible WorkingHome based with occasional travel.If you are an ambitious technical business development professional with a strong background in electronic communication equipment and ideally with expert knowledge in the marine sector, then this could be the ideal new role for you.The company develop and supply AIS technology and products which are used in the marine industry on boats for safety, tracking and security and on buoys for navigation aids and monitoring the environment.Customers include end users, marine electronics dealers, marine electronics manufacturers, infrastructure owners and marine authorities around the world.This role will involve working with existing and new OEM customers who are looking to integrate this technology into their products as well as identifying new customers and areas to drive demand and increase sales.The role The role is to develop and maintain new and existing relationships with marine electronics companies around the world who wish to use the companys module and OEM transceiver solutions to create their own AIS product lines and or integrate AIS on or intoexisting products.This will be a consultative type of role where you will work with and support customers in their path to integrating these solutions within their products or applications.You will be required to respond to new enquiries and provide guidance on how to best make use of products, including assistance with system engineering to enable integration of the devices within a product or larger installation.You will be required to liaise with product managers of existing customers to help them expand the use of the companys technology solutions within their products.This role will require commercial acumen as well as technical knowledge and the ability to gain a good understanding of marine communication products and their applications..The role will require:
