Job Description

Role: Telesales OperatorLocation: Middleton, ManchesterType: Permanent, Full TimeSalary: up to £25,000 per annum DOE + OTE bonus of £2,000 per annumHours: 37.5 (5 over 7, including 3 Saturdays a month 8:00 - 2:00pm with a day off mid week)Reed Recruitment are partnered with a leading company to recruit a Telesales Operator for their head office in Middleton. Working in a fast paced environment, alongside 4 other people in the team.You will be working on retaining and growing existing client accounts. Taking high volume of inbound calls resolving complaints and responding to queries, as well as talking about new products and upselling.This role will be suitable for someone with experience in telesales, customer service, contact centre or sales. Alternatively, if you have a different background but interested in this role please still apply.As a customer service and sales representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and growing existing accounts by providing excellent customer service, taking and inputting orders, and reporting technical faults.
  • Generating new business by contacting potential customers, introducing new products, and up selling existing ones.
  • Working closely with account managers and supporting them with their administrative needs.
  • Building rapport with weekly telesales customers and being their regular point of contact.
  • Planning calls and targeting gaps in supply using relevant systems.
  • Performing certain office duties such as confirmation, sorting the post, filing, and processing orders.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A clear and friendly telephone manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to solve customer issues proactively.
  • Good communication and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good product knowledge and the ability to promote the sale of LWC Drinks own brand products.
  • Good teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Trinity system.
