Job Description

We are currently working in partnership with a manufacturing company, a leader in their field who are looking to appoint a Reward Manager on a 12-month FTC.This will be a full-time position based in Manchester, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.The successful candidate must have experience with reward and payroll processes.Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Working with the Head of Reward and HCM Systems and partnering in-country HR Managers to support the delivery of local compensation, benefits and payroll activities, in line with both Group and local frameworks, policies and practices
  • Ensuring that compensation and benefits packages and policies comply with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Working alongside other members of the team to deliver on key cyclical tasks such as incentive plan granting and payments, updating of benchmark salary ranges, Gender Pay Gap reporting, budget setting, reporting dashboards etc
  • Job evaluation and salary benchmarking using Willis Towers Watson (WTW) methodology
  • Working with the Reward and wider HR team to identify opportunities for further optimisation or efficiencies as part of the HR Digital Transformation
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
  • Experience of working in a large organisation, ideally with some international experience or operating within matrixed structures.
  • Detailed payroll knowledge, with good understanding of end-to-end payroll process and supporting employees with all aspects of payroll queries
  • Experience of job evaluation methodologies. Ideally Willis Towers Watson (WTW) but if not then Hay Korn Ferry or Mercer methodologies.
  • Experience of working with cloud-based HCM systems. Ideally Workday but if not then tier 1 such as SAP or Oracle.
