Job Description

We’re looking to recruit a talented Quality Manager to join one of our clients based in North Manchester.

About the job
  • You’ll make up part of the senior management team whilst managing a team of up to 10 people in the quality function.
  • You’ll manage all quality related issues taking the responsibility for preserving and developing ISO9001:2015 standards.
  • As this is a global business, you’ll control international quality standards also.
  • You’ll identify and address any non-conforming products and report as necessary putting in place any preventative measures.
  • Final assessments and pass of with or on behalf of the customer.
  • Supplier audit and new supplier assessments.
  • You’ll manage the departmental budgets.
  • You’ll be working closely with production engineering, supply chain, sales and service departments.
About you
  • You’ll have a solid engineering background along with an engineering qualification HNC/HND as a minimum.
  • Experience of working with an auditing in accordance with IDO9001.
  • You’ll be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerance.
  • You’ll have experience of traditional and new measuring instrumentation and techniques.
  • Leadership skills with experience in developing a team.
  • You’ll be flexible with regards to UK and overseas travel, as occasionally required.
