Network AdministratorReports to IT Operations Team LeaderMiddleton, ManchesterSalary: £30,000 to £35,000Brief OverviewThe 3rd Line Infrastructure Support Team in Central IT is a section of the Infrastructure & Operations Team.Running ICT Services for Head office (Chadderton) and 13 depots (UK Based).This service is responsible for providing 3rd line technical support, Windows Systems based operating systems implementation of and adherence to security policy, system availability.Working as part of the Infrastructure & Operations Team this role will have responsibility for ensuring all Infrastructure and Processing Services responsibilities are met for LWC supported Servers.The role requires in depth practical knowledge of a wide range of Infrastructure & Back Office products.This role also involves offering advice and guidance to the customer and liaising with 3rd parties on support issues where appropriate.Routine tasks need to be completed with limited supervision.The role will report to the IT Operations Team leader.Out of hours support (rota).Key Skills- Windows Server 2016- AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Group policy and Print servers- Windows 10/11 (Desktop Support)- VMWare / Hyper-V- Hyperconverged solutions (Nutanix)- Network Routers and switches (Cisco)Preferred Skills- Have experience in following (preferable)- Unix/Linux administration- Meraki MX SDWAN solutionsThis vacancy is being advertised by Webrecruit.
