Job Description

We are delighted to be working alongside one of the UK’s biggest plastic suppliers who are looking to recruit a machine operator.This will be a good opportunity to join a business that invests well in their staff and become trained across a number of different machinery.The ideal candidate will have previous experience of operating either a CNC machine, band saw or table saw but this is not essential.Responsibilities:

Maintain and keep thebeamsaw clean and in good working order
Follow the process, identify material and labelaccuratelytoensuretraceability
Label off cuts and accurately update Excel stock sheet on laptop
General warehouse duties
Operating a table saw, x cut andhand toolsis desirable
Cutting different types of plastic, wood and aluminium
Workingeffectivelywithwarehouse/goods into prioritise workload

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

Using measuring equipment to check sheet dimensions
Experience working in a production / manufacturing environment
Experience in cutting large volumes of materials andnestingtomaximizesheet yields

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 18:30 Friday 08:00 to 17:30.
