Living Landscapes AdviserMatlock, DerbyshireFull time Fixed term post (until 31/03/2022)FTE salary £24,450 per annumDerbyshire Wildlife Trust has secured funding from the Green Recovery Challenge Fund to help us to deliver a Wilder Derbyshire.We have some really exciting projects to deliver across the county:

Development of our Wild Peak initiative, working with Rewilding Britain and other partners to establish a nature-based economy in the Peak District

Woodland creation in the Derwent Valley

Next steps in pine marten reintroduction

We need you to come and work with us on these and other projects. This is a fixed term contract, but we want to develop opportunities after this project has finished to continue the work.The post will undertake a range of desk and field based projects, working on your own initiative. You will achieve this by working with partner organisations, land owners and managers and colleagues at DWT. The post holder will have a background in habitat and species management, be able to write and present reports and a good understanding of GIS. This post is an opportunity to develop and build on those skills working on a range of habitats in some outstanding locations, helping us to deliver our strategy 30% of Derbyshire managed for nature by 2030.The closing date for this role is Monday 11th January at 12 noon.Interviews will be held on Thursday 21st January.
