Job Description

This leading Trade Moulder and Toolmaker, offering a quality service to various markets including Medical and Automotive is currently seeking an Injection Moulding Technician / Process Engineer to join their team.As Injection Moulding Technician/Process Engineer, your duties will include -

  • Managing the technical sampling side of the production process, ensuring the sampling process is undertaken within a systematic, timely manner with a quality focussed approach.
  • Overseeing and supporting production changes, tool changes, automation, robotics and machine troubleshooting including taking a lean on process optimisation. Ensuring the machines are operated at an acceptable standard and within the set and costed cycle time.
  • Delivering the agreed sampling targets through clear communication of works order sampling expectations, monitoring and appraising job results, process development, coaching, mentoring, initiating, co-ordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures in line with agreements, policies and business derivatives.
    • To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding / Process Engineer, the ideal Candidate will -
  • Be experienced with Injection moulding and assembly techniques
  • Have detailed technical knowledge of problem solving techniques including the ability to analyse and resolve any process problems.
  • Have previous experience of tool and material trialling
  • Have experience of Automation and robotics
    • Based near Middleton, this role is commutable from Bolton, Huddersfield, Manchester, and Hyde.On offer -
  • A salary of £30-35k
  • Days based Mon-Fri
  • 26 days of holiday pay + bank holidays
