Job Description

A plastics manufacturing company that are experiencing exponential growth are currently looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team. Serving various industries such as medical, automotive and electrical your role will be to ensurethe smooth running of production whilst maintaining a high level of quality.As injection Moulding Setter your duties will include -

  • Carrying out tool changes effectively and safely
  • Ensuring injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products
  • Performing tool and material trials
  • Basic machine maintenance and trouble shooting
  • Optimisation of processes (scrap reduction, cycle time improvements, etc)
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal candidate will -
  • Have experience as a plastic injection moulding Setter or Technician
  • Have worked with various materials
  • Be experienced in setting machines, ideally from scratch
  • Be competent in identifying moulding issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
